The company Dijagonala has been the main contractor of the construction of these majestic facilities of the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Novi Sad, for which our northern province waited for more than 15 years.

The construction work began in January 2008, and building of the facilities, after completed rough construction work, entered its second phase.

The Emergency Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Novi Sad has been waited for in our northern province for more than 15 years.

The new centre for diagnostics and therapy is planned to have the ground floor, three floors and the attic and it is to cover the area for 7,239 m², while the whole area of the construction site is 31,000 m².

The construction works started in January 2008, after D.O.O. Dijagonala from Novi Sad had been chosen as the main contractor to build these facilities according to the architectural and construction design made by the Studio "Arhimon" from Novi Sad. The electrical fittings design was made by the team of the company "Elektroinženjering" from Novi Sad, while the mechanical fitting design was made by the company "Stem" from Novi Sad.

Construction of these facilities, after rough construction works were completed, has entered its second phase.

The facilities represent the greatest investment in health made by the Province. The assets for the accomplishment of this project have been provided by the Fund for Capital Investment of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

The new centre for diagnostics and therapy is going to have the ground floor, three floors and the attic and it is to cover the area of 7,239 m², while the whole area of the facilities is 31,000 m².

The centre is going to have the emergency surgical interventions theatre with accompanying rooms, fast laboratory diagnostic apparatuses, CT apparatus, angiography room, X-ray, coronary units and intensive care units. It has been planned for the internal medical examinations to be performed there as well as the examinations of ophthalmologic and ear-related diseases, i.e. it will include all the facilities necessary for temporary hospitalization.

The prospective Emergency Centre is to perform emergent medical procedures for almost 75% of the population of Vojvodina.

The Clinical Centre of Vojvodina is an exceptional, highly specialized health institution of the highest i.e. tertiary level of health protection in the Province. At the same time, it is the largest scientific and research base of the Faculty of Medicine of Novi Sad.
